✨Fun Fact:✨ What do balloons and plastic straws have in common? They're both prohibited items at Disney's Animal Kingdom and at Animal Kingdom Lodge!

🐵Why? It is in an effort to keep the environment safe for the animals! Swallowing straws and bits of balloons or their strings can be especially harmful for the residents of the park and savanna at the resort. 🦜

My family brought collapsible metal straws with us on our last visit because my kids aren't fans of the paper straws for things like smoothies and milkshakes. (Pro tip: hold the straws out in front of you when going through the metal detector to avoid having to have your bag searched.)

What's your favorite fairy tale?
Today is "Tell a Fairy Tale Day" and we know that Disney's magic had brought so many of these stories to life for generations of children, and their adults.

As a kid Cinderella was my absolute favorite! Meeting her at Cinderella's Royal Table was an unforgettable experience for 13yo me on my first (of many) trips to WDW. Tell me your favorite and I'll tell you if you can meet them at Walt Disney World too!

As of February 25th, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind at Disney World will no longer be a part of the Virtual Queue system! This means you can choose stand-by or purchase Lightning Lane, no more frantic refreshing at 7am and 1pm to try to secure a spot!
