From strangers to soul sisters 👯
Mariana (Houston) and Jess (Seattle) met on our Costa Rica trip and instantly clicked. Their energy, passions, and zest for life all matched and made for a new and special friendship. If you’ve traveled with them, you know these two are kindred spirits who radiate positivity, love to laugh, and bring all the best, upbeat vibes to any group they join!
Their cross-country connection has remained strong since their time in Costa Rica (so much that they even ran a marathon together 🎉) and they have joined us in Iceland, Ireland, and are slated to travel with us again to Guatemala later this year and Belize in 2026!
Just another reminder that travel brings us together and crosses our paths with those who we may have not met otherwise. Here’s to the magic of meeting your people in unexpected places ✨

What’s new?
Belize 🇧🇿: we’re slowing things down on this perfect, short getaway to recharge and relax. Join us in Caye Caulker as we snorkel marine reserves, sip rum punch on our private catamaran, have sunset dinners, and take it easy on this little boho island.
Portugal Mother/Daughter 🇵🇹: Moms from all our previous M/D trips have requested this one and with good reason! Beautiful wine country, the best desserts, extraordinary castles, and sunset river cruises. Both moms and daughters are going to love this.
Extended Guatemala 🇬🇹: we’ve extended our 2026 trips to include one extra day at Lake Atitlan along with a very special sunrise paddleboard session where we watch the sun peak over the surrounding volcanos☀️

2026 dates are coming Wednesday (June 4) 👀 - here’s what’s new:

- Belize 🇧🇿: Island time for H&NT. Visit a Mayan site, tube a river, then head for the best boho vibes on Caye Caulker where no automobiles are allowed. We’ll make our way around by bike and golf cart as we follow the motto, “go slow.” Snorkeling with sharks, catamarans, lounging by the sea and taking it easy
- Mother/Daughter Portugal 🇵🇹: the Moms have spoken and they’re ready for Lisbon and Porto. Be a good daughter and bring your mom to the Douro valley for wine tastings, a sunset river cruise in Porto and pastel de Nata making (more importantly tasting) in Lisbon

2025 is flying by and we’ve been busy 😅 - here’s what we’ve been up to:

- Mother/Daughter Iceland Northern Lights: our most sentimental trip expanded to Iceland this year and our moms and daughters made to the land of fire and ice and found the Aurora ✨
- Guatemala: one of our newest trips got off with a bang as the first groups made their way to Antigua and Lake Atitlan
- Engagements! We’ve had 3 engagements/proposals on H&NT trips this year 👰🤵
- : we launched a special Latin America series with this awesome community of Travel Healthcare professionals. Check them out if you are in travel healthcare or are interested!
- New trips? We’ve been working hard on our 2026 schedule and are close to release! The first week of June is go time 🚀

Our Costa Rica trip is one of a kind as we stay atop a cloud forest mountain at the beautiful . Far removed from any large towns or nightlife, our 5 days near Juan Castro Blanco National park are spent active during the days (white water rafting, swimming, hiking, zip-lining, and doing yoga) while nights are spent drinking wine, playing board games, dancing in the kitchen or just chatting and looking at the stars. If you’re looking for a centering experience, this is the trip for you.
