Hey, friends of the Rose of the Sea! This is Dexter. Apart from being a co-host, I'm also a graphic designer and illustrator. Over the last couple of months, I've illustrated some designs inspired by the beautiful scenic spots here in Rosamar. Olga and I were inspired by vintage travel posters and wanted to create some for our community. But we didn't stop there. We went ahead and printed the designs on coffee mugs and tote bags and we are planning on printing them on other merchandise in the future. Needless to say, one of our guest rooms feature my artwork. Also, our guests have the option of purchasing these items when they stay at the Rose of the Sea.

In the business of hosting, we have met so many wonderful and friendly guests and we always look forward to hosting them again. And when they do return, it makes us so happy to see them and to know how much they love and appreciate our place. To receive gifts from them is just the topping on the cake. Thank you so much Maria and Cheslav for the delicious and beautiful chocolates from Ukraine and Maryna and Andre for this very tall (and we're sure it's delicious) bottle of red wine from Germany. You guys are awesome! ❤️💕

We're so happy to show you our recent renovations to our home by the sea! First, we have a new automatic/retractable awning over our balcony. This addition allows you to enjoy the balcony more during the day especially when the sun shines above. Perfect for the warm summer days ahead! We've also renovated our balcony sliding doors and bedroom doors/windows that both insulates from the warm temperature as well as outdoor sounds (if you desire that extra level of quiet). It also has a retractable screen door for when you want some fresh air but not the insects. We're ready to take on the summer! 🌞❤️🏝️

Since the very beginning, we're always thinking of ideas on how to make our home cozy and comfortable for our guests. For this corner, we thought it would be nice to create a space where you can retreat with your favorite book on a sunny afternoon in the sanctuary and shade of the bedroom, while allowing you to peak at the world outside.

Here at the Rose of the Sea we value our guests and make every effort to make their stay comfortable and memorable. Here at the Rose of the Sea, we put a lot of thought into decorating our home with pieces of art related to the area of Rosamar and Costa Brava. Some of our treasured and favourite art works are the ceramic paintings of local Sant Feliu de Guíxols artist, Quimeta Serra i Fornós 🎨🥰
