Creativity is deep rooted... My Grandmother, Grandfather and Mother have been my biggest influence in sewing, art and knitting... From an early age I would spend my summer Holidays in Germany with my Grandmother behind the scenes at the Theatre where she worked, watching and learning as she make and alter costumes which led me to my first job after leaving school as an apprentice in
a small fashion house making children's bridesmaid and wedding dress.. After then I completed a Diploma In Art and design .Whilst Having my first child my Husband and I then moved to France for a few years , I was limited with time, New house , new child and the French Language to learn! so to keep my passion for sewing and art going I set time aside to attended a local art and sewing group with many lovely talented French ladies who made the most amazing hand crafted Quilts...It was killing two birds with one stone I could be creative and learn a new language at the same time... as a result of this I enrolled into a City and Guilds doing creative studies, patchwork and quilting Now a single mother of three I have returned to the UK to be near my mother who's my biggest creative influence, she always has a lot of constrictive criticism... I call my mother " Mutti " and she's quality controller....?
