Meet the Endangered Candy Darter, one sweet Appalachian fish we'd like to see more of! 🍭

This lollipop-colored fish is found in cobbly, higher gradient streams in Virginia and West Virginia. During their spawning season, they'll bob up and down, looking for each other! 👀

One way you can help this particular darter (and other native fishes) is NEVER to release fish from your bait bucket. 🚫

BOO-tacular Fun Run presented by OnPoint Gym

BOO-Tacular is an Obstacle Course Challenge with a Halloween Theme. Designed for all ages, BOO-Tacular will have a Team Challenge, Youth Challenge, Individual adult, and even a Pumpkin Run for the tiny challengers. Obstacles such as the Log Jam, Rope a Dope, Hay Stack, Cage Crawl, Lackin Traction, Hercules Hoist, Pipin Hot and many more. 17 Obstacles with most of them inside of McNally Arena making for a Spectator friendly event as well. Fun for the whole family.

The last Free Fishing Day of the year is coming up in California! September 2nd will be the last “Free Fishing Day” this year🎣. This is the perfect opportunity to take someone new to fishing out before buying a fishing license. Come by and talk to our guys about getting set up!
