We’re back with our first Wildjoy Make Friends event of the year at the brand new Game Show Battle Rooms in Scottsdale 🎯 imagine a real life version of all the game shows on TV like Family Feud or The Price is Right where you get to play & compete… it’s so freaking fun 🔥 come alone or bring a friend!

our fav hidden gem staycation spot 😍🔭 add in Fountain Hills to your must try list!! As Fountain Hills is a certified Dark Sky Community, the property is astro-themed 💫 meaning they have telescopes everywhere, stargazing parties on Fridays and even rooms with telescopes IN THEM 👀

we got to stay this past weekend for Ian’s 33rd birthday, here’s some inside scoop on how to maximize your stay here…swipe to the last slide ➡️

🔭 book the celestial suite if you want a once-in-a-lifetime experience…you get this massive corner suite with 270 degree views AND a telescope in the room for night time stargazing.

🍹 all reservations come with a free drink card so you can get a pre-dinner cocktail (get the Cielo Spritz) and take dreamy photos with the mountains during sunset.

💫 every friday night they do a dark sky experience for the guests…it’s ran by the ‘star dudes’ who are local geniuses passionate about the galaxy who bring their fancy telescopes & teach you so much! This was a major highlight for us.

💅🏻 the Adero spa was 10/10…the pool has the most insane view for post-spa sunbathing. book the Moonlight Glow Facial or the Cranial Sacral Therapy Massage!

🥾 they have a private hiking trail you can take that is down the lawn by the pool..it’s easy and stunning if you want to enjoy the desert.

just a girl who will drive 4 hours for a good sunset 🥹 don’t be afraid of doing things yourself! swipe to see a video of me conquering a big fear 😱➡️

i am terrified of heights (got pushed off a bungee jump at my college fair and passed out = trauma) so walking across the Glen Canyon Dam was intense but so freaking cool!!! comment if you want to see the video of the bungee jump incident… 🤣

you can park at “Wahweap Overlook” to see the sunset over Lake Powell! there is a visitor center nearby where you can park and walk across the bridge like I did.

getting a house boat at lake Powell has been on my bucket list forever and this view reminded me why…

It’s wild that the last month of 2024 is here but we’re stoked for the insane amount of cool events happening from a REAL SNOW festival to lots of train rides to holiday parades…so as always, we’ve rounded up our top 33 events happening this month that you should add to your calendar 📆

We are volunteering with in Tempe BUT (good news) you’re invited to a happy hour from 9-10:30pm at the Tempe location if you wanna come out & make friends! there’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit then giving back!! Every day, Feed My Starving Children in Tempe packs 1000’s of meals to be sent all around the world to kids in need. We’re stoked to announce for next Make Friends event, we are throwing a PACK A MEAL FOR KIDS volunteer party on Saturday 12/7 from 7-9pm 🎁 it’s free to come!!! you’ll feel so good after and you’ll get to make new friends in the Wildjoy community.

Here’s everything you need to know:

🤝 What we’ll be doing: Hands-on meal-packing (with everything provided)! You’ll stand in an assembly line and we’ll all work together to pack hundreds of meals in just two hours.

📍Where: Feed My Starving Children – Tempe location (1100 W Grove Pkwy Ste 101, Tempe, AZ 85283)

⏰ When: Saturday 12/7 from 7pm - 9pm VOLUNTEERING

🤗 Who’s invited: Everyone! Feel free to fly solo or bringing a friend. Our events typically attract people between 20-40 years old. :)

Not only will be super fun all working together to package the meals, we’re hosting an after-volunteer social at down the street from 9pm (ish) - 10:30pm 🍻

Wanna come?! We have a group reservation at the link in our bio that you can sign up under! Our deadline for signups is 11/27 OR whenever we “sell out” aka the max # of people sign up.

Can’t come but want to donate? It only takes 29 cents to feed a child and a donation of $106 can feed a kid a daily meal for a year 🤝 you can go to to donate!!

Introducing PUMPKIN WARS 🎃 This Saturday, for our next event, we are teaming up with the team to throw the first annual Pumpkin Wars!!! You’ll learn how to carve a pumpkin from world-famous artist then compete in a Food Network-style competition if you dare 👀   IT’S GONNA BE SO FREAKING FUN! When you first arrive, you’ll be able to shop for your pumpkin in the pumpkin patch THEN you’ll find a seat at the Wildjoy tables. FAIRY GARDEN STORE NEAR PHOENIX 🧚🏼‍♀️✨ this decor store called Ivy & Sage in Mesa does the craziest displays for the holidays and they just put out their fall ones & OMG it feels like you’re walking through a fairy wonderland! The mushrooms and trees are all handmade so it’s really cool. Has anyone been yet?? 👀 Add @ivyandsagelifestyleco to your must visit places this fall & send this to who you wanna go with!

AZ SPEAKEASY #21 ➡️ FAIRY THEMED GREENHOUSE IN TEMPE 🤫🧚🏼✨ it’s called Idle Hands hidden inside Devil’s Hideaway in Tempe, Arizona! Overall just LOVE the vibe - it feels like you’re not in Arizona anymore… 😉 TIPS: Make reservations as it is a small space! It’s hidden inside Devil’s Hideaway so just google that and it’ll come up. If you love speakeasies, don’t forget to follow along as this is one of our favorite series! We have posted over 20 speakeasies in Arizona that are so much fun & we have lots more to come 💓

REAL LIFE EXTREME OBSTACLE COURSE IN FLAGSTAFF 🤯 We are obsessed with this real life adult obstacle course! Flagstaff Extreme is a unique outdoor adventure experience in the trees🌲 Their adventure course has obstacles like rope swings, zip lines, unstable bridges, ladders + more! There’s 80 different obstacles on this course 😯 You’ll start on a practice course that shows you how to use your equipment and complete the course safely. From there you work your way up through the 5 levels of difficulty at your own pace. Towards the end things get pretty crazy! It took us about 3.5 hours to complete the course 😅 Would you ever try these insane obstacles?! 🪜🌲Send to someone you’d want bring with!

Add this hidden gem in Arizona to your bucket list ✨️ Boyce Thompson Arboretum is only 45 min from Phoenix and is SO beautiful! It’s Arizona’s oldest and largest botanical garden 🤍 @btarboretum features 12 gardens and exhibits that are home to over 19,000 plants from around the world 🌏 This is a HUGE arboretum and there’s so much to explore. There’s running water, beautiful greenery + the chirping birds are so peaceful! Such a relaxing day out in nature 😌 Tickets are $25 for everyone over age 12, and $10 for ages 5-12. Kids under 5 are free! Follow us to find more of the coolest hidden gems in Arizona 🤩

DIY PLANT TERRARIUM SHOP IN PHOENIX 😍 we accidentally stumbled on this gem but OMG it’s so cute inside. You can build your own custom plant terrarium by picking your plants, sand, container and little toppers. @jadeandcloveraz is right next to La Grande Orange Bake Shop so grab a piece of cake after wards! They also have a boutique inside with lots of little goodies. Tag someone below you’re bringing with 👯‍♀️ this would be the perfect date date or girls night out! The WildJoy story began with a sunset drive on Mount Lemmon — orange tones in the sky, cool crisp air, and the Tucson skyline in the distance. On Mount Lemmon, co-founder and CEO Lacy Cain drove this scenic route to replace her chaotic, busy life in college with a couple hours of pure joy. You know that feeling when the wind is in your hair, the music is loud, and it’s as if nothing else matters in those moments because you are totally immersed in the present and your surroundings. WildJoy was created to help people remember how important moments just like these are in life on this crazy planet.

In the United States, 1 in 5 people are approximated to be dealing with the pain of a mental health illness. Both Lacy and her co-founder and CTO Yaya Alanis have lived with and pushed through their struggles with depression and anxiety. Often we are told to pursue what makes us happy or to constantly be in pursuit of happiness. Happiness can only be defined by the individual and is certainly impossible to impose on anyone else’s life. However, joy is different. Joy is felt in little moments like playing with your dog, having that first sip of coffee in the morning, or reliving the memories of spring break with your best friends. Joy sparks a feeling that can lead to more happiness overall.

Lacy and Yaya were on a mission to figure out a way to bring more joy to people. Their goal was to create an outlet for people seeking out a better, more fulfilled life through experiencing with the community and world around them. They decided to design a space where people can browse online a wide variety of experiences, both for fun and for the community, that they could partake in to feel that joy.

This is where WildJoy came from. Two women determined to make the world a better place by creating a platform that could provide opportunities for experiences that could result in that unparalleled feeling of joy that Lacy felt on Mount Lemmon. WildJoy is growing every day, and we hope to inspire you and invite you to experience with us.
