Our VBS, Overboard! God's Ocean Full of Mercy, starts this Monday June 10-14, 2019.

It is hard to believe that I have been conducting VBS programs for over 50 years. The very first one was June 1965 at our home church York Baptist in Milan, Michigan.

When Wendy and I were on the road in evangelism we conducted 12-14 VBS's each summer. Now that we don't travel any more I am back to one each summer in our home church Victory Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC.

We need your help!

Wendy and I started Quality Speech Materials in 1995. From the very beginning we advertised using Direct Mail. We laboriously compiled mailing lists, purchased specialized address printing machines and paid postage on thousands of mailed brochures or post cards.

This was before the internet, websites, and email. At the beginning direct mail was effective and people would order our VBS programs, Children's Church lessons and Speech textbooks.

In the last few years we have noticed that our Direct Mailing efforts are not resulting in very many sales. Therefore, We have decided to not do any direct mail this year. This is scary for us as that is all we know how to do. We have decided to try internet marketing. This is very scary for us as we know nothing about how to do it and the learning curve is massive and the rules change almost daily.
