A privately owned company that provides its clients with projects shot in a distinctive photojournal I pride myself on being both skilled and versatile.

I am a freelance photographer and photographer's assistant with three years of experience, and received the majority of my training at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. I have been educated in several photographic disciplines, as well as a variety of studio and location lighting techniques. I have had a fascination with photojournalism and documentary photography for as long as I

can remember, and marvel at it's ability to inspire as well as inform. My main influences have been Michael Lavine's work documenting punk culture in the late eighties, and the photography of Greg Marinovich and Kevin Carter during South Africa's transition from the apartheid system in the early nineties. I grew up in the midwest in a predominantly blue collar region of southwestern Missouri. From an early age, I was instilled with a strong work ethic. I am a high energy person that thrives in an environment where my abilities are constantly tested, and can adapt quickly in most situations.
