Insanity to me how rentals are still charging an astronomical amount of money when guests basically have to bring their entire house with them.

~Make your own bed
~ Bring your own spices, kitchen bags, oil, salt, pepper
~ Bring your shampoo, body wash.
~ Bring your own toilet paper.

How is that vacation? How are they charging thousands of dollars a night?

Come ON. We are over here worried that the coffee we provide our guests will be to their liking. 🙃

This style has to change. One rental company running everything and this is exactly what happens, a monopoly.

Love, love, love how this moody blue turned out! Makes me want to curl up for a great nights sleep. Rethinking our home bedroom colors now. This project was a pain in the 🍑 but worth the time and $ spent. We have a lot of pride in our homes, because we do a lot of the work ourselves. We want to offer more than just a stay, but show that we care about who is staying with us and why they should choose us ♥️ What do you think of the new room?! Bold and Big Painting Fails. 🤣 What are some of your paint DIY mishaps? My hubby dreamed of an office that was similar to the cabinet room at Monticello in Virginia. I researched greens of all shades to find the perfect one that resembled that color. Settled on @benjaminmoore Amazon Moss. Bought the paint, and began my painting process in my favorite painting jacket and pants 🥳 #hobo 1 coat in I began to worry about the color because it was joker green. 2 coats in it still looked joker green. 3 coats in I ran out of paint and went to the store that sold it to me. When filling another gallon they asked if someone informed me that this paint required a tinted primer.... No, they certainly did not. This project is now at 6 coats of paint on the walls and at least 8 coats for cut ins. I was at my wits end this weekend, and angry at this green room, but I am determined to press on.
