The airport was the cutest. And the gates were open air at check in. And when we landed, we walked off the plane outside onto the tarmac and the girls just loved that!!! The pic of the gate is literally the whole airport. There were like five ‘gates’ and we all sat together. Of course it started to downpour as soon as we lined up. But United had us covered. They handed out complimentary ponchos. They were enormous and covered me and the three bags I was carrying!!! And then when we got on the plane the flight attendants were ready to help take off the drenched plastic. For a country that only has rain 30 days a year, they were super prepared. And of course I had to capture that sunset!!

Last day. This was an absolutely incredible experience. We met some of the nicest people. Ate some of the best food. Played on the most beautiful beach. And smiled for days!!!

My husband does not enjoy traveling so I took the girls solo. And I noticed I wasn’t the only one. In fact the other solo moms had kids with special needs. They told me that Beaches has babysitters that are trained to care for them and the moms could get a few hours to enjoy the amenities on their own. I think this truly speaks to how safe and comfortable we all felt there.

After lots of smiles we were hungry!!! So we headed over to Neptunes for the best breakfast EVER! I ordered the frittata, eggs Benedict, steak and eggs and two orders of hash browns. OMGosh it was all delicious. My daughters ordered French toast with candied walnuts and blueberry pancakes with bacon and sausage and more hash browns. Our plates were all happy and so were our bellies!!!

Well on our last day I scheduled our photo shoot (included) for first thing in the morning when the beach is supposed to be its most colorful. However the weather didn’t cooperate 😂 but I could still stay there forever ❤️ And I don’t think too many people can say they saw a 🌈 in Turks and Caicos!!!!
