One of the biggest battles that we have to over come is offense. Getting offended by someone that you love can cause deep emotional and psychological scars.
It is a trap to hinder, delay or destroy the mission that God has placed in all of us. I'm learning daily that I must get to the root or source of my hurt but not only my hurt but, the person or persons that offended me.
Someone give me this yesterday about a potted plant that stopped growing, when she tried to replant the plant the roots were so entangled with one another and that it was killing the plant. For that plant to grow she had to cut the pot to remove that plant, the roots had cut off the flow of nutrients that the plant needed to grow. That was mind blowing to me because I actually could see that I'm like that plant, for me to continue to grow and bloom into what I should be, I had to be removed out of my pot(surrounding, comfort zone, environment)
because I had to get to the root of what has hindered my growth. The root that has hindered my growth has been identified as hurt and rejection, now that it has been identified I will no longer allow myself to rehearse past hurts, I'm cutting away the roots of hurt, shame and bitterness so I can receive my daily flow of nutrients to finally grow into what I should be.
I'm growing Into a healthy fruit producing tree, I will produce fruit in every season, the leaf on the tree will not die.
