🎥 Behind the Scenes at Glamis Castle! 🎥
Phillipa, Laura, and Priti have just returned from an unforgettable week at @GlamisCastleScotland, where they filmed the next Crewel Work Company documentary with the fabulous team at @adamedia_uk 🎥✨ It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with extraordinary needlework discoveries, and we can't wait to share the beautiful footage and incredible stories they captured.
A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Glamis for making this week so memorable! 🙏💫
🌟 Glamis Castle is a place steeped in history and inspiration. As the ancestral seat of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne since 1372, it has welcomed historical icons like Mary, Queen of Scots, and even inspired Shakespeare's Macbeth. The castle also has strong ties to the modern Royal Family, as it was the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and the birthplace of Princess Margaret. 👑
In the early days, Phillipa had the honor of creating a replica of the lost bedspread stitched by Cecilia, Countess of Strathmore. This stunning piece was completed just in time for the Queen Mother’s 100th birthday and now graces the Royal Bed at Glamis, a wedding gift to Elizabeth from her mother.
Stay tuned as we look forward to releasing a collection of Glamis-inspired kits and events in 2026, celebrating over 30 years of connection with this remarkable Scottish treasure. 🏰💫
