It's been a while since we posted here. I got married and after a decade in the Arctic, I moved to the US.

Due to COVID, I refunded everyone who had booked a tour for this summer. I'm hoping to have our next tour soon....

I hope you're all doing as well as expected in these crazy times.

I can't wait for ski season! This is where we'll be skiing on the first day of the winter tour (dates coming soon!). We will sleep in a mountain hut just below where the sun is setting. We'll collect water through a hole in a frozen lake next to the hut, and we'll sooth our muscles in the sauna and roll in the snow to cool off.

On the second day we'll enter the Tundra, above the treeline. You can see the trees here are small - just hanging on.

Welcome to King's Trail Tours.

We're the Arctic Wilderness & Mindfulness Experts.

We are based in the Swedish Arctic, and you'll travel with us below the Northern lights, on foot or ski, relaxing in sauna's each night, surrounded by the magical wilderness, with the mountain peaks silhouetted all around us, and the darkest sky you've ever seen overhead.

Our goal is to take people into the wilderness, where they can get away from the chatter and messages of the everyday world and connect more deeply to themselves, finding that true self within & observing ourselves in conditions where we are tested.

Clients return to the real world with a new understanding of themselves, and a new trust, as well as tools to help them stay centered and create more meaningful and intimate relationships, and to improve those that already exist.

We have mindfulness practices along the way, and group check ins where we connect to and express what we are feeling, with no judgement or trying to fix from others. There are communal meals and daily tasks to keep everything functioning (chop wood, carry water...). Sometimes we travel in silence, which will be broken by simple rituals such as speaking once everyone has a warm cup of tea in their hands.

Your guide is a life coach who has lived his life outdoors & studied both people, himself and the natural world.
