Here is one of Delhi’s famous street food now a days, the SHAWARMA!! It’s mildly spiced melt in the mouth chicken rolled in a thin pita bread served with some mayo n mint chutney. Can b enjoyed at any time of the day.

An evening in a community park in Dwarka, Delhi. Filled with different activities. Kids & elderlies on the open gym machines, kids stretching & performing yoga, group of old ladies sitting in a group & singing religious songs while they try to fan away some heat & a group of young kids at karate class; Absolutely refreshing & relaxing to watch!!

People queued up to eat at one of the oldest & most famous eateries at Jama Masjid, Al Jawahar! Serving really good curries and breads and very delicate & sumptuous seekh kebabs!!!
Not to miss the electrifying atmosphere outside!
Al Jawahar... highly recommended! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Showcasing Delhi to the world!

Hello people of the world!! :)

I am a 34 years old travel & food enthusiast Delhiite. I spent my early childhood in the walled city of Old Delhi & thereafter spent most of my school & college days living in the Lutyens Delhi, the New Delhi! This became the centre of exploration of my city, DELHI! Currently I am residing in one of the newest suburbs of Delhi, Dwarka. This too brings out a totally different aspect of living in Delhi.

I am an avid globetrotter. I have travelled across the length & breadth of my country & for the past few years, have been exploring other parts of the world. It was after I travelled to countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, UAE, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Sweden & Luxembourg I felt like showcasing to the world my rich Indian culture & heritage, amazing Indian food, my vibrant city, DELHI!

From my travelling experience, I would say that if one wishes to experience the real essence of a city, see it with a local person who would take you to places where the regular tour guides, operators do not go.
