It branches off of FUSE Performing Arts Company and will be a year round opportunity. During the "off-season" of the summer productions, The FUSE Project will offer artists the chance to perform with the use of film. The option are endless and it is exciting to think about the possibilities that lie within this project. Projects could consist of dance pieces, musical theatre pieces, scenes, a seri
es of pieces, scenes, stage combat pieces, recreating movie musicals...and it will also provide the chance to writers who want their stories told. Unlike the productions (which are not being replaced by this project), there is no huge time commitment. On an average, each project would take place within a week including rehearsing and filming. (give or take, depending on scenario) This means that the window for many other performers is completely open. Along with the hands on experience that this will offer each individual, you will also have footage of the experience and product to add to your portfolio as well as your resume. Founder, Jessica Marie Thaxton- Artistic Director of FUSE PAC- is looking for talent for upcoming projects. This means- dancers, actors, singers, choreographers, directors, designers. This is your opportunity to use your skills and put it to work, giving a hands on approach to the film side of performance. Jessica will be choreographing/directing, but at the same time, choreographers and directors who want to produce something for experience and exposure....you are welcomed with open arms! This is such a fun opportunity for any individual who participates in these projects and I cannot elaborate enough on how wonderful it is to have professional quality work to your portfolio/choreography & directors reel/and resume. For any questions or comments please message us or Jessica Marie Thaxton. For more information about FUSE Performing Arts Company please visit www.wix.com/fusepac/company for info about the company and some of our past work. And if you have any suggestions for some of the projects, we would love to hear them!
