From its envious position at a cool elevation of 1000 feet on the slopes of Mount Hualalai, to its 270 degree panoramic views of Keauhou Bay and miles of the Kona coastline, this secluded luxury estate on 5 fenced and gated acres is surrounded by lush, tropical foliage. It has been said that this architecturally significant residence boasts the most amazing views available on the Big Island. The residence was also featured on the cover of Island Home magazine. Privacy and security are assured from the moment you enter the gate and proceed down the sweeping, palm tree lined drive to the main residence.

Upon entry to Hale Wailele you are greeted by magnificent koi ponds and the sound of waterfalls in your private courtyard.

MAIN HOUSE LIVING AREA: The Great Room features 18 foot vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan that encompasses a gourmet kitchen and dining/living areas. The interiors have been professionally designed and offer a luxurious yet comfortable respite. Floor to ceiling pocket doors open onto the lanais to bring the outdoors in. The gourmet kitchen will be the envy of any chef and is equipped to host parties large or small. The kitchen features a large island and a handy breakfast bar where guests can gather and chat with the chef of the party. Adjacent to the kitchen is an intimate media room and an open air tropical bar perfect for pre-dinner cocktails.

OUTDOOR LIVING AREA: Over 2000 square feet of Honed Beaumaniere French Limestone floors (imported from France by the original owners) flow seamlessly around the home. Both covered and open air patios feature plush chaise lounges and resort-style furnishings surrounding the custom infinity edge pool and spa. Outdoor cooking at HW has a new exciting, stylish upgrade for your enjoyment. Create your own flavors and unique experiences using our Al Fresco gas grill and rotisserie, Kamado Joe charcoal grill, and wood-fired pizza oven. Entertain your friends and family with memorable dining on your own lanai. This area is perfect for enjoying the beautiful Kona sunsets while sipping a tropical cocktail. The fun does not end after the sun sets as the area magically comes to life with the lighting of the tiki torches. Arrange your own private Luau complete with Hula lessons and fire dancers. Ideal location for intimate weddings.

SUITES OF THE HOUSE: The house is comprised of 3 separate pavilions which are connected via Honed Beaumaniere French Limestone walkways. The King Master Suite with his and her bathrooms is housed independently in pavilion 1. Pavilion 2 houses the main living area as well as two additional King bedded suites. Pavilion 3 houses the 4th King bedded suite (aka Ohana).

All of the suites are equipped with private bathrooms, televisions as well as their own outdoor lounge areas. It is rare to find a vacation rental where up to 4 couples can retreat to their own private spaces.

People new to Hawaii often don't realize that the higher elevations offer the perfect temperature compared to the heat at sea level. At 1000 feet, the temperature is nearly always "perfect" with cool breezes complimenting the bright sunshine.
