🌌🦓🦁🌲 Night Safari to Mikumi - Magic under the Stars 🌌🦓🦁🌲

I want to invite you to a night safari to Mikumi (part of a 3-day trip). Get ready for an unforgettable journey through the mysterious world of African nature.

As the sun sets and night takes over the savannah, Mikumi seems to come alive in a new way. It's during the night that many animals become more active, giving us a chance for incredibly unique encounters.

We embark on the safari in an open vehicle equipped with spotlights. The atmosphere is incredible, and the stars in the sky make the view even more magical. Accompanying us into the park is an armed ranger.

As the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon, the park comes alive with its nocturnal life. The night drive through the park offers opportunities to encounter many animals, among others zebras, antelopes, and elephants. These animals are just as active at night as they are during the day, making the encounter with them incredibly thrilling. At night, the park appears calmer and more relaxed as the animals are not aware of our presence; usually, we are the only vehicle traversing the park at night.

The night safari also allows us to admire the mysterious nocturnal birds, such as owls and nightjars. Their eyes glow in the darkness when we shine a flashlight on them – truly a remarkable sight.

However, it is the predators, such as lions or hyenas, that always stir the greatest emotions. At night, their hunting instincts are unleashed, and if we're lucky, we can observe them hunting for their prey. It's a sight that remains etched in memory and demonstrates the wild and unpredictable nature of the wilderness. It was during one of these night safaris that I heard the roar of a lion for the first time – not loud, but deep and awe-inspiring.

In the surrounding darkness, everything looks different. Quietly, we pass through the park, hoping to encounter wild animals in their natural environment.

Traveling at night, we feel like a part of this wild realm. Mikumi captivates us with its mysterious atmosphere and helps us understand the importance of preserving this beautiful natural environment for future generations.

Night safari is not just an adventure but also a lesson in respect and humility towards nature. Our hearts fill with joy and reverence for life in the park, and every moment spent in its company remains forever in our hearts.

🦁🌍🔭 "Incredible! A family of 18 lions casually strolled past our car today. Our one-day safari group at Selous encountered an awe-inspiring pride of 18 lions. It’s a testament to the skills of our professional guides, but I must admit, nature seems to be on our side as well - possibly reciprocating for the respect we show it.

For those who wish to experience an authentic safari, maybe not the longest (usually from 6.00 am to 4.00 pm), but intense, rich in experiences and offering incredible encounters with nature. Let me remind you,last time we've already encountered 2 leopards, a family of 6 lions, and now a record-breaking 18 lions!

But if you want to aimlessly wander around the park for a few hours to kill time - we are not for you. We are here for those who crave the true spirit of adventure and who respect and admire the wildlife. See you in the wild!" 🌍🦁🔭
