This is the 3rd edition of the festival, but for the first time going to be held in Bhrahmaputra river beach. RODALI UTSAV is a celebration of the rich hand-loom, handicraft and food of Assam and North East states.This will be a 7 day event from 26th December 2015 to 1st January 2016.The highlights of the festival are as follows:
* Ethnic Food festival.
* Expo
* Music festival: Performances by Rock bands of NE states and by other singers and performers.
* Para Gliding.
* Horse Riding.
* Beach Volleyball.
* Fashion shows.
* DJ Night on 31st December,
* Happy meal for 100 children on 1st of January.This is an initiative of Rodali Foundation, Tezpur.

Day 01- Arrival at Guwahati:
Receive at Guwahati Rly. Station / Airport . Transfer to Hotel. After getting refreshed visit the state Museum, emporium followed by Evening river cruise over river Brahmaputra. Over night at Guwahati.

Day 02-Guwahati – Cherrapunjee:
After Breakfast visit Kamakhya temple one of the most sacred Hindu Pilgrimage and Balaji Mandir - the replica of Tirupati Balaji, and Bhimshankar Jyotir Linga which is believed to be one of the 12 places where Lord Shiva is believed to have appeared as an endless pillar of light. Proceed to Cherrapunjee ( 146 Kms), which is three hours drive and is famed for being the wettest place in the world. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic water falls and impressive limestone caves. Visit the Nohkalikai falls, being the world’s fourth tallest water fall, Mawsmai falls, Thangkharang Park and Mawsmai cave which is one of the 100 old limestone caves in Meghalaya, over night stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 03-Cherrapunjee – Shillong:
After Breakfast, visit living root bridge, lunch drive to Shillong. Check in at Resort/Hotel on arrival at Shillong.

Day 04- Shillong-DAY EXCURSION TO MAWLYNONG:
A half day trip to the picture perfect Mawlynong village,the cleanest village in Asia. In the later half day city tour of Shillong. The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots: Ward’s Lake ; popular for short garden walks & boating, Botanical Garden; offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants & rare collection of orchids, Butterfly Museum; a storehouse of finest and rarest species of butterflies and moths, Lady Hydari Park; a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with stretches of roses & exquisite flowers, Elephant Falls; is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks. Other falls are Bishop and Beadon Falls, Spread Eagle Falls, Sweet Falls, Crinoline Falls to name a few. over night stay at Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong – Guwahati:
After breakfast drive to Guwahati enroute enjoy water sports at Barapani lake. After lunch, drive to Guwahati and check in at hotel.

Day 6: Airport/Rly Station
After breakfast drop at the railway station/ Airport.

Cherrapunjee Breaks 10-Year-Old Rain Record
Cherrapunjee in Meghalaya scripted another hallmark in the record books, shattering a 10-year-old record after receiving 471.7 mm of rain on a single day.
"Till 8.30 a.m. this morning (Wednesday), Cherrapunjee (which has been renamed Sohra) recorded 471.7 mm of rain during a span of 24 hours, thus breaking its previous record of 407.7 mm which it received on August 21, 2005," Vijay Kumar Singh, the meteorological official at Sohra said.
