T North Photography There is beauty everywhere, we just need to know where to look. For the better part of my life, art and creativity has been a part of me.

I come from a musical background, but also spent time working with the visual arts. The time has come for me to step out from in front of the camera to work behind it. Hello friends. So, I post some photographs up here but I've never really posted my thoughts, so here goes:

I've been on this black and white kick for a little while now. What I love about black and white photography, is that it strips everything away and leaves just the content. Your eyes aren't distracted by millions of colors. To me black and white brings out a different quality in an image. As you can see in the one I posted of my wife and daughter, your eyes focus on the subject of the image without the distractions of clothing and background colors. What you see is a mother who loves her child till the ends of the earth, and a child who is calm and safe in her mother's arms. That picture captures the love and the bond of a mother and her child. As a photographer, I face the challenge of capturing content that can convey this feeling. Thank you for listening to my thoughts, talk to you all again soon.
