No, we’re not offering tours to Montana, but we sure did enjoy a reunion here for the June 2023 Israel/Europe group! 😊 Since there were 4 couples from this beautiful state, it was decided that it would be a wonderful spot to gather and reminisce a year later. Out of a group of 45 we had an attendance of 38, and had there not been the death of a relative, 3 more would have been here. The couples from here did a fantastic job of planning 2 1/2 days of traveling together in a bus, and experience spectacular scenery, delicious meals, as well as renew our friendships. Many of us stayed longer and saw more sites, but it’s been a great time, and we extend our thanks to our gracious hosts! Join us in the future for more tours, and lasting friendships! 😊 We will keep you posted!

Our last day in Switzerland consisted of hiking to the Tauferhole cave in Baretswil, then we drove to the beautiful little village of Appenzell, for lunch and an afternoon to leisurely stroll the streets and shop in this car-free town. On the way back to the hotel we stopped at a chocolate factory in Flawil, where we got to see the process from cacao bean to delicious Swiss chocolate..with some taste testing as well.
Now we have arrived safely back in Toronto, and have said goodbye to our wonderful group, who we will miss very much! Until we meet again…
Thanks for traveling along! Our next European tour is scheduled for next June. More details later…

This evening after dinner we were treated to a wonderful program by the choir that Ernst directs here in the Zurich area..it was a nice walk from our hotel to the church, and we all enjoyed a lovely time together.

Just a few glimpses of our beautiful views from the Schilthorn today! We traveled back to Interlaken today to take a cable car ride to the top, and what splendor awaited us…the weather is finally allowing us to see the true beauty of the alps! 🤩 What an awesome God we serve!

We were treated to some yodeling today by Lorenz Schwartz and his wife, after our work day at the Fankhauser farm. He is a friend of our guide Ernst, and they have sung together many times.

Yesterday we had a new experience at the Ballenberg Museum in Brienz. First we were served a delicious lunch and then we enjoyed learning more of the history and culture of the Swiss, with a guided walking tour through a part of the 200 acre, open air museum that has reconstructed houses and barns etc. from all the regions in Switzerland. There would have been a lot more to see if time allowed. From there we made our way to the hotel in Interlaken where we spend two nights.
Today (Sunday) we had a nice walk to the little English speaking tourist church that we always attend when we are here on a Sunday. We had a lovely time worshipping together. The rest of the day is free time, so some took the train to Lauterbrunnen and Wengen, others took a tram to the Interlaken overlook, and then a few also decided to do some paragliding! The weather hasn’t been cooperating the best, with lots of clouds and some drizzle, but we are making the best of it! We hope to come back later in the week to take our trip up to the Schilthorn when the weather looks better.

Hello friends! It’s time to plan another trip! Since the war began in Israel we are unable to include that in our normal itinerary, so we have decided to offer a Europe tour only, in the spring. This will include a bit of the Black Forest of Germany, as well as the Alsace in France, and then the greater part of the tour is in beautiful Switzerland. The dates are May 29-June 8 2024. We have brochures printed with the full schedule and pricing, and those are available by mail, or email. Please message us for more info.
