Our Story

Who doesn’t fall in love with St. Simons Island on your first visit? We were no different....and by the end of our first visit we starting searching for a home. By 2013,we were blessed and became the proud owners of this historic Beach Cottage. Since then, we have shared it with many family, friends and visitors. The original portion of the Cottage was built in 1935 and in 2000 the Cottage was elevated, an addition was built and renovated. We continue to take care of “her” - she has a story, character and welcome all who enter.

Please consider staying at Bennett Beach Cottage. If you do, promise yourself to take daily long walks on the beach, eat lots of Georgia Shrimp and smile when you hear the fog horns from the porch - it gets us every time ;-)
