The passion to build came from being around a family who was motorcycle and car enthusiasts. Especially being around his father who built up bikes such as Triumphs and Harley's. When Shannon was 3, his father built up a 1950 Chopper and sold it to buy their first home, right then and there, Shannon knew that his call to life was to build beautiful, ri
de-able machines. He built his first Volkswagon in 8th grade and his first bike in High School (Pearl City High School), a Harley Fat Boy replica which he purchased from a catalog and paid for by working not just one, but a few paper routes. From then on, Aikau's's been breaking down and re-building up rides from mopeds, bikes, choppers, cars, trucks, Volkswagon's to Honda's (yes, Honda's). Although as talented Aikau was at building machines, his talent excelled and flourished from 1998, when he moved to Vegas and hooked up with The Count. Now with 20+ years experience within his career, he's built over a hundred choppers, bikes and rods for rockstars and superstars! Shannon Aikau continues to build these incredible bikes and rods in the dungeon of Count's Kustoms, but now coming out of the depths to express his uncanny creativity.
