Recently got to help plan this girls’ getaway with some of my friends!

Helen, Georgia, is a cute Bavarian inspired town that gave me Gatlinburg vibes with more charm and less people! Activities like the Georgia Mountain Coaster, perusing through cute shops, and “Shoot the Hooch,” where you can choose to do a short or long tubing ride on the Chattahoochee River add to the destination’s charm. Food and drink choices include quaint coffee shops, sushi, American fare, and German restaurants. Accommodations range from home rentals to unique stays like the Heidi Motel which honors the Bavarian Village tradition to familiar names like Holiday Inn Express, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, and Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Recently I’ve been providing quotes for Yellowstone, Florida, and Arizona to name a few!

This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as what I can do!

I can also help you secure hotel stays (overnight or longer) even creating a block of several rooms for a discounted price if you have a larger group (I.e. sports team and parents traveling). I can help with rental cars/transportation and look into and assist with booking flights.

Even if I don’t make commission on it, I don’t mind to try to help. As a matter of fact, some clients recently wanted to do a weekend stay in Dandridge, TN, at a cabin near Douglas Lake. I spent time searching options for them based on what they wanted and found one for their last minute booking! Seeing pictures from my client of her grandsons enjoying fishing on the beach area & dock near the cabin from that weekend were a high point for me even though I didn’t make commission off of the trip. I guess all of that is to say, forming relationships with clients is a big part of the motivation behind my work as a travel agent.
