🎉 For those who may not know, in October I moved to Nashville, TN. I bought a house for short term rentals and have been spending the last few months getting it ready to be rented. One of the last and major parts of getting it ready was applying for a permit with the city. Today, I got my permit!!! It feels like it’s been a long road to get here. Graceland Mansion- Memphis, TN at Christmas time. It was such a cool experience learning more about Elvis and his family history. Highly recommend visiting during the off season to avoid the chaos. Trailers unloaded to go to the RV doctor. Maya and I are both sad to see Winnie go. 😢 Now, where am I supposed to put all this stuff!?!?!? Better question, where’s Maya??? 🐶

Things have been quite busy lately with volunteering, traveling, time with family and friends... It has been the best month a girl could ask for! My travel schedule has been a bit busy: Port Townsend > Seattle > Nashville > Seattle > Boston > NYC > Boston> Seattle all within 2.5 weeks! Maya has been my ride or die through all of the experiences. I am one lucky dog mom!

With all this traveling and craziness I haven’t had time to update my blog. I have some pretty great content though! I am looking forward to catching up on my blog while I am headed back to Salt Lake City to see family and friends before heading east to a new adventure!

One of the best parts of having a home on wheels is watching Maya experience new places & things. She recently experienced her first time at the beach, which shortly then lead to a $200 vet visit. While living her best life... she decided to rub her face into the sand! Her eye sockets were full of sand. We ended up with an antibiotic ointment for her eyes and a mild ear infection. Good times.

Plum Hill Winery was such a great host last night! After a rough morning yesterday, see my last post, I needed a little retreat and it’s exactly what I found . The mat at their front door says, “Our place is your place”. That’s exactly how I felt and was treated by their team. Amazing people and great wine!

When your day has already started off on the wrong foot and it’s only 10am.

Booked a warranty appointment for my 2020 Micro Minnie over a week ago. I paid $325 to stay in an AirBnb, slept in a parking lot (no biggy minus the noise) & drove 2.5hrs last night to be at this appointment by 9am this morning. Where I am then told Camping World in Hillsboro, OR - which is Winnebago certified - cannot work on my trailer, because it’s under factory warranty and is a trailer NOT a motor home. Then come to find out ALL of the other Winnebago dealers in Portland can’t do the work either. What the hell!?!? That is ridiculous. Luckily, if you call it luck, I got half my Airbnb deposit back. 🤯🤬😔

The road to where I am today was a long, difficult one. I appreciate what I’ve learned in the process, the friendships I’ve gained and the personal growth I received in return. Looking ahead and moving forward, I hope the road is just as beautiful!
