Dear Knysna residents and supporters, we have been lucky and blessed to have survived the fires thus far. We are devastated by the loss of homes, lives and land by the fires. Absolutely not to be missed is the viewpoint at the Heads. The Heads of Knysna are a geographic marvel. From the viewpoint you may be lucky enough to spot a southern right whale – this gigantic creature finds both food and refuge just after the mating season when her calf is born. A set of binoculars may help you to spot them. From the northern side of the viewpoint, you will see Featherbed Nature Reserve, Leisure Isle and the expansive Knysna Lagoon.

A great reason to come to Knysna this May !!

The local South Cape Centre will be hosting the 2017 MG Car Club Cape Centres Gathering from 25 to 28 May 2017.

MG enthusiasts will be traveling from Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Johannesburg to join the local members at the event that will be based in Wilderness.
On Friday 26 May participants will be driving through Sedgefield town on their way to Rheenendal. Local residents are likely to see quite a number of little sports cars driving around.
On Saturday 27 May, they will be visiting the local Sedgefield markets and the cars will be ‘on show’ at the parking area behind the Mosaic Market.
This event takes place every second year and is hosted by a different centre each time.
