Because of efforts made by Texas ranches, the population of the Scimitar oryx within the state exceed numbers of 12,000 - as large as a number of the species in their natural habitat. This shows the importance of hunting and how the process goes hand in hand with conservation.

There’s very few hunts that you give you the kind of rush that you get from a proper Buffalo hunt. We followed this herd until we were able to close the distance to within 50 yards, where executed a well placed shot on the old herd bull.
