Update! We’re reducing our passport processing times to 4-6 weeks for routine service, down from our prior service commitment of 6-8 weeks. Our cruise has ended and we must go home. To say we were not ready is an understatement. Before the cruise began, I was worried that 10 days at sea was going to feel like an eternity but it went by in the blink of an eye and I would have stayed longer if I could.

I don't know if it was the incredible Haven accommodations, the friendly staff or the bucket list itinerary, but we couldn't have asked for a better experience. In fact, we had such an amazing time that I've already made plans for our next trip out to sea 🐻‍❄️

The final port on this incredible adventure took us to the fourth and fifth countries of our journey. We dropped anchor in the idyllic seaside town of Villefranche-sur-Mer in France but made our way over to Monoco after stopping in the enchanting French village of Eze ⚜️

A great experience with such a contrast in architecture, industry and terrain. We were able to catch the changing of the guard at the palace in Monaco and then stare down at all the yachts in the harbor. I felt like we should have been on an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous 😁💰

I've left my heart in Regione Toscana and I will be back 💚🤍❤️ Food, wine, and a gorgeous landscape are just a few of the reasons people are drawn to this area of Italy.

We spent the morning exploring shops within the walled city of Lucca and had lunch outside a restaurant in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. The afternoon took us to Pisa with the iconic Leaning Tower and other incredible historic sites.

Naples, Pompeii and Neapolitan pizza... this day could not have been any better. It was a little hot but water and sun hats made it bearable. Again, I am amazed with the history and beauty in this part of the world. If you have not yet ventured to Italy, what are you waiting for???

Time is flying and the destinations keep getting better 😍 Our fourth stop is Messina in Sicily with mountains and incredible terrain to explore. We ventured to the hilltop town of Taormina with views of Mount Etna and overlooking the sandy beaches below 🏝

The third port on our journey, the Republic of Malta, a place I was unfamiliar with but now thrilled to have visited. One of the smallest countries in the world and also one of the most densely populated. Malta has been a territory of many countries, while through it all building it's own culture and language. This little island country is a must-do for your Mediterranean adventure with so many towns and villages to explore 🇲🇹

Our fourth day of the cruise was a sea day so we took advantage of the ship amenities, especially the area of the ship that can only be accessed by Haven guests.

Quiet areas on a cruise ship can be hard to come by. The Haven not only offers conversational areas but also a pool space with hot tubs, sun deck, fitness center, locker rooms, saunas, and a private restaurant. Each Haven suite also has a Butler...it may sound extravagant but if the idea of having a space away from the hustle and bustle sounds good, the Haven might just be the right choice for you.
