Meet the Palm-nut Vulture 🦅

This beautiful bird, often found across sub-Saharan Africa, isn’t your typical vulture! Unlike others in its family, the palm-nut vulture has a mostly vegetarian diet. It loves feasting on the fruit of oil palms, giving it its iconic name. When it’s not munching on nuts, it may eat fish, small animals, and even crabs by the coast!

With its white body, black wings, and piercing red eyes, the palm-nut vulture is a beauty to spot in the wild.
