Part of Day 5 of our art tour, we visit Anahuacalli Museum near Coyoacan. Commissioned by Diego and Frida and built out of volcanic rock in the form of a Pyramid.
The museum houses their collection of over 50,000 pre-Hispanic pieces as a gift for the Mexican people.
Diego and Frida wanted to stop the ancient artworks from be plundered by foreign archeologists.
This museum is often overlooked, but it would be a shame to miss seeing everything in it and what it stands for.
The building is an art piece in itself, even the ceilings are decorated with mosaic indigenous symbols.

Have you ever heard of The Day of The Dead Festival in Mexico? My friend Samadhi is taking a guided tour to Mexico. You can travel with her Ex-Brisbane or meet her there if you're already close to that part of the world.

I think you'll probably find some bargain flights given what's happening with tourism at the moment.
