Cast irons come in handy on every camping trip!
Unless you’re backpacking.
🔥 Grilling over an open flame is a cinch once you get the hang of it! Start your fire at least an hour or two before throwing the meat on to ensure you build up a base of coals for consistent heat.
And, make sure to treat yourself! Especially if you’re a Mom on Mother’s Day weekend. You deserve it! 🙌🏼

Our Taxa Cricket (named Sally) is super efficient, lightweight, equipped with beds for all of us, a two burner gas stove, sink, mini fridge, and tons of storage. We stay warm, cool, dry and comfortable while we explore, and we couldn’t be happier she’s ours!

It's International F***y Pack Day and I am 100% in on bringing the f***y pack back! 🙌 I have them for all occasions - errands, concerts, you name it! My Cotopaxi Bataan F***y Pack goes with me on every hike. Filled with just-in-case supplies like biodegradable TP, hand sanitizer and a small first aid kid. It also serves as a great spot to stash some M&M's to incentivize the kids in case we need a little pick-me-up!

Quality hiking footwear is necessary. I've found Merrell's fit my high arches better for boots when I'm doing some serious hiking, but I'm also a sucker for a trail-worthy Teva or Keen sandal for shorter hikes in the summer time. Let's talk S'mores! They're delicious and always gooey. Some like their mallows charred while others like them slow-toasted. Some prefer to eat them deconstructed or to use different ingredients. My personal fave...Nutella, strawberries and a toasted marshmallow between two vanilla pizzelle cookies. 😋 What's your preference?
