It’s glamping with horseback riding, fishing, archery, carriage rides and a lively dinner show. These cabins are Disney’s best kept secret! Who else loves this special nook of the property? (And who just wishes we kept this a secret?!)

Sure, there’s things that Walt Disney World does better than Disneyland (like the size for one) but maaaan, is there anyone else with HUGE Avenger FOMO every time they see images from Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park? You can dine at Pym Test Kitchen, have a Guardians dance off, save the campus from Spider-Bots and meet Avengers like Doctor Strange just walking around, being cool and saving the universe in their spare time. What would you want to do first at Avengers Campus?

Sound the alarms! New adorable merch has landed in the Disney parks! Gone are the days where you and the pal next to you in the buffet line had the same set of ears, now you can create your own set! Choose from a variety of different characters and slide them on to your chosen headband base. What do you think? Are you all onboard to design your own or do you prefer to leave that to the experts?

Disney is piloting a new service comparable to Universal’s express pass!

In the coming weeks, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will begin piloting a new service providing expedited entry to theme park attractions: Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time. Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests are visiting.

At Disneyland Resort, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available first come, first served beginning two days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks. The first date it will be available is October 23, 2024.

At Walt Disney World, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. The first date it will be available is October 30, 2024.

You can find M&Ms of EVERY flavor and color here (and you may be surprised at some of those options) along with some items exclusive to the Disney Springs mega store. **Pro Tip Alert!** Want to save some cash and calories while eating Quick Service at the Disney parks? Here’s a little secret… kids’ meals are where it’s at! If you’re not on the Disney Dining Plan, aren’t a big eater or don’t like to share, why pay for food you’ll barely finish? Order a kids’ meal! At least look at the options, because they are way easier on your wallet, typically healthier and surprisingly good.

Talk about a win-win-win: you save money, don’t feel overstuffed, and won’t feel guilty snacking around “the World.”

Next time you’re at the parks, don’t be afraid to check out that kids’ menu! My daughter and I do this a lot!

Disneyland has announced their 2025 packages are available to book and you really need to take a close look at the new Pixar Place Hotel! If you’re a fan of Pixar movies (and really, who isn’t) you’re going to have a BALL discovering all of the details and Easter eggs from the moment you step into the lobby. You may even run into a few characters during your stay! One of the standout features of the Pixar Place Hotel is its dedicated walkway straight into Disney California Adventure Park. You can literally stroll from your hotel room into the heart of the park, making it incredibly convenient to get to Radiator Springs Racers first!

It may not be the Highway in the Sky, but it could be considered the Most Magical Flight in “the World”! So what makes the Disney Skyliner special AND what are the must-know topics?

*It’s transportation + an attraction! Not only does it connect EPCOT and Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, but it’s a fun way to take a midday park break from EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.

*It is the only way to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios from the Skyliner resorts unless it is down for weather or technical issues. In either case, there will be buses available.

*Occasionally, something happens at a Skyliner station that necessitates a slow down. If you are onboard during one of these moments, don’t panic! There is still a breeze, so just enjoy the views and have some fun conversation about your trip so far!

Sure, your Disney+ library is wall to wall with Marvel films, but in Orlando, Universal’s Islands of Adventure is where Marvel reigns supreme! Did you know you can dine with super heroes like Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man and Cyclops, Storm and Rogue? You can battle Doctor Doom, help Spidey round up the baddies on some awesome attractions and you can then take a breather by checking out some authentic and sometimes hard to find comics in a real comic book store. (Straight out of childhood, right?!) Where would you head to first?

I know, I know, I’m feeling a bit of the Disney whiplash with yet another change to the FastPass...Genie+ and now Lightning Lane Multi Pass systems. It’s a lot to digest and frankly, I don’t love another change either. It definitely takes some time to wrap your head around, but I have been studying and absorbing all the ins and outs of this new system and am ready to equip my guests with the best tricks and most up to date info to help navigate this new tech world. All hail the sweetest, gentle giants on the savanna, it’s Elephant Appreciation Day! I know I can’t get enough of these and will crane my neck in all kinds of crazy directions to watch them just a little bit longer as we ride through Simba One during Kilimanjaro Safaris. Fun fact, the world’s largest land mammal is smart and can learn and feel emotions. So maybe they are just as happy to see US on the safari as we are to see them. Who else considers seeing these tusked cuties as a highlight of the tour?

The Country Bears have been a Magic Kingdom fixture since the very beginning and this year, they received a...gasp...refurbishment. Nothing major, the music was retooled to bring in some family-friendly Disney tunes that everyone can sing along with. However, it begs the question...did you feel like this was a good opportunity to just create something brand new in that space or are you happy the Bears get to sing another day?

PRO TIP: You’ve heard AMAZING things about the massive shakes and desserts at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, but you don’t want to wait in the long line and you forgot to make a reservation...never fear. Go right in through the front door (don’t get distracted by the cases and cases of decadent chocolates and macarons) and head to the counter to order your desserts with no reservation needed. There’s also a small grouping of tables where you can eat indoors or take your goods out front to a park bench and people watch the CityWalk crowd. What does your sweet tooth love most over at Toothsome?

Let’s be real for a second—finding good gluten-free options anywhere can sometimes feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, but at Walt Disney World, the foodie magic extends to everyone, even gluten-free folks! When you’re tired of yet another salad or snacking on a box of popcorn, head over to Pinocchio Village Haus, where the Blue Fairy is granting gluten-free wishes left and right! From tasty flatbreads to breaded chicken tenders and fries to desserts (and yes, salads too) the gluten-free menu is extensive and satisfying. Not to mention the ambiance is the most charming in the whole kingdom with spectacular views inside and out.

The unofficial tag line of Disney Cruise Line is, “me and we time”. A cruise vacation offers so many amazing activities for the whole family to enjoy together while also offering activities that will delight kids of all ages AND allow the adults to indulge in fine dining. Adult only relaxation spots, spa treatments or whatever...floats your boat. A DCL vacation is the perfect idea for a multi-generational trip where you want to have that great family time, but also some space to just exhale. Who in your family would absolutely love cruising the very most?

I often get asked, “When are Disney Cruise Line rates the lowest?” First answer is, of course, when itineraries are first released. The early bird absolutely gets the worm. Second suggestion is during hurricane season. (Think summer into early fall) Is it risky to book during hurricane season? Not if you purchase the travel insurance and arrive at least a day prior to your sailing. Cruise lines navigate funky weather like pros and always have a plan in place to make sure their guests get the best trips possible. Have you ever sailed during a storm? What was your experience?

Happy Five Year Anniversary to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World! Maybe the two suns have fried my brain, but it still seems like yesterday that Imagineers so perfectly transported us to a galaxy far, far away. I am still in awe of every nook of this immersive land. If you had to choose ONE epic thing about Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge that just absolutely blew you away, what would you choose?

Hi! My name is Emily Morris and we are about to form a fabulous relationship over Disney vacations! I am an Independent Travel Agent with Destinations to Travel, LLC. I fell in love with Disney when I was 7 years old and had gone to Disneyland for the first time. Since then I have traveled between Disneyland and Walt Disney World a total of 15 times - even on my honeymoon!
