Happy Thanksgiving to all in America! How are you celebrating today? We are having family and friends over for turkey. No, not this turkey. He was hanging out at Boston’s North End Library a few years back blocking folks from going inside. It was funny to see people’s reactions and he was unfazed by it all. Maybe he was looking for alternative recipes for the holiday meal? Enjoy the day and remember to wear stretchy pants to make room for dessert.

Last night’s dusk shot in Girona, Spain. 🇪🇸 After an excellent day of wine tasting at the base of the Pyrenees mountains, we walked the charming streets here before sunset. Magic!

Rome, the Pantheon 🏛️ on a bright sunny day. We spent the day wandering the main areas and back streets exploring all that Rome has to offer while on our Mediterranean Odyssey cruise with and our could not have been any more magical.

No one I would rather travel with than my husband of 35 years. Today we revisited a place we traveled to 34 years ago - Sorrento, Italy. 🇮🇹 Our Mediterranean Odyssey finds us discovering new places and reminiscing in destinations we love. 💕

Halloween 🎃 yesterday on our Mediterranean Odyssey cruise. included a wonderful trip to Burano, Italy - an island off of Venice and a stop in Chioggia where the kids trick or treated in town, followed by an epic dinner with sweet Halloween 👻 desserts.

This cutie puppy 🐶 is hanging out in Boston’s North End. He’s a shy one; used to the suburbs and new to city life. His dog sitter is a lovely gal who is being patient with potty training and socializing him.

The Museum and Memorial is a powerful tribute to all who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. A somber day. Will be flying today and can’t help but think about the brave folks on flight 93 that tried to stop the terrorists. 🇺🇸

On today’s cruise excursion we traveled by boat to an island an hour from Ketchikan, Alaska where the black bears had their fill of salmon from the fresh streams running into the inlet below. They seemed unfazed by our presence. It was a wonderful way to spend our 38th wedding anniversary together to end our cruise on ship Orion.

Epic day in Alaska’s Denali Park! Denali is the highest mountain peak in North America with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet. We saw bears 🐻 and lots of incredible fall foliage while in the park. The bears are foraging for berries while fattening up before the harsh winter. Did you know bears dig out new caves each winter? They won’t risk predators catching their scent and labor to dig out their caves with their powerful claws. Today’s adventure is part of our pre-cruise trip as part of our in Alaska with on our 35th wedding anniversary vacation.
