Do you want access to social media 🗣 while on the ship? Do you want to chat with your family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦while on the ship?

Once you board your cruise ship 🚢, and before you leave the ship channel, you will need to put your phone on airplane mode 🛩 or risk losing big bucks 💸 to your cell phone provider. Before you sail, check this out:

1️⃣ Check with Your Provider: Before you sail, contact your cell phone provider to explore international plans and options for staying connected at sea. 🗺️

2️⃣ Your cruise line's 🛳 Internet Options: Compare prices and speeds to find what works best for your needs. 🌐

3️⃣ Airplane Mode: Once you're on board and by the time you pass land, switch your phone to airplane mode to avoid unexpected roaming charges. You can still use Wi-Fi while in airplane mode to access the ship's app, like the Carnival Hub app ✈️

4️⃣ Once in airplane mode, you won't be able to use SMS chat. Look at using WhatsApp or FB Messenger to connect with friends and family on and off the ship. You will need an internet plan if you want to connect while on the ship.
