🌍✈️ HUGE travel updates for all you globetrotters! Starting January 8, 2025, U.S. citizens planning to visit the UK will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). For just $12.50, this authorization is valid for 2 years! Simply download the app, share your details, and you’ll receive your ETA within 3 business days.

But that's not all! The EU will soon roll out a similar requirement called ETIAS, expected to launch mid-year. This will cost around $8, and approvals can take minutes, but it’s best to apply well in advance, as it could take up to 30 days.

We just finished an amazing day exploring four incredible resorts on Maui! 🌴

First stop: The **Ritz-Carlton Kapalua** – Set on 54 lush acres, this stunning resort offers sweeping ocean views, championship golf courses, and the award-winning Spa at Kapalua Bay. Its iconic Banyan Tree restaurant full of live plants and direct access to the serene Kapalua Bay Beach.

Next stop: The **Wailea Marriott Beach Resort** – Located along the picturesque Wailea Beach, this resort boasts three oceanfront pools, a full-service spa, and dining at Kapa Bar & Grill. Plus, the easy access to snorkeling and water activities makes it a perfect spot for adventure lovers.

Then we visited the **Fairmont Kea Lani** – This upscale beachfront resort is all about luxury and relaxation, with spacious suites and villas offering breathtaking ocean views. Its serene spa, multiple dining options, and expansive pool area provide the perfect balance of indulgence and tranquility.

Yesterday we boarded Hawaiian Airlines for a short flight to Maui. Upon arrival we rented a car and drove to The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Ka’anapali. On the way, we made a pit stop at the legendary Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop where we taste tested some of their famous pies! The Westin Maui is a gorgeous resort featuring 769 newly renovated rooms. The ground is a verified botanical garden with flamingos and other wildlife located throughout the property. It is in the perfect location for whale watching, shopping and eating. And if you have someone in your group that likes to constantly be entertained, check out The Valley Alley, Westin’s social space. There is always something to do here. Come and rediscover Maui! You won’t be disappointed!

Yesterday we visited 5 amazing resorts, some of which are located directly on the beach and some just a short 5 minute walk from the beach.

Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk is the only all suite property in Waikiki which also includes a full breakfast and evening cocktail reception.

Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel is an artsy craft hotel which has recently been renovated and caters to all your senses. It will also be debuting Cirque de soleil Auana next month.

Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort is located directly on the beach and offers outstanding views. It is the only beachfront hotel to offer all glass front facing rooms. It is a great location and home to the Hula Grill and the iconic Duke’s Waikiki restaurant.

Outrigger Waikiki Paradise Hotel is a beautiful hotel that was completely renovated and just reopened last month. It partnered with local influencer artists to create a special ambiance. They even created their own scent!

Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort is a beachfront hotel that also recently completed renovations. The hotel features a 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom penthouse suite including a 2100 sq ft deck. It is truly amazing! A highlight from our trip here was our visit to the cultural center where we made Hawaiian Lauhala bracelets and learned to Hula dance!

Aloha! Just another day in paradise. Yesterday the LBAC Travel team saw a variety of resorts during our 8 site inspections in Waikiki, From families, to couples and romantic stays, these resorts offered something for everyone. It was busy, but we walked away with so much knowledge of these beautiful resorts and all they have to offer. We ended the evening with a gorgeous sunset and dinner.
