was hands down the best dining experience I had on this trip to Anguilla!! The food & cocktails were phenomenal, and the service was attentive, fun, and not stuffy. Upon being seated, we received a welcome cocktail…a strawberry Bellini! We ordered the Pina Asada as a second cocktail, and it was perfect! For our mains we had the lamb chops, the mahi mahi au gratin, and a side of roasted truffle corn. All was magnificent!! We ended with a crème brûlée, and they also brought a complimentary shot of rum with liqueurs. We couldn’t get enough! Can’t wait to return to this gem!! 🇦🇮❤️🇦🇮

Breakfast at Straw Hat is absolutely amazing! Pictured are the Lobster Johnny Cake Benedict and the Straw Hat Egg Sandwich with Bacon. The Benedict has fresh Johnny Cakes topped with spinach and perfectly poached eggs, fresh Caribbean lobster, and a pesto Hollandaise sauce…magnificent!! TIP: make a reservation as far ahead as possible…the best seats are given to the order reservations come in. We were seated at a table close to the beach with a beautiful view of Meads Bay! 🇦🇮🦞🏖

Roy’s Bayside Grill is famous for its fish n chips, but their cheeseburger is a close runner up!! You’ll also want to make sure to try the traditional rum punch! 🇦🇮🐟🍔 🍹

Wonderful dining experience at The Lobster House!! The outdoor seating had the perfect breeze, and we were immediately offered their drink special, a mango rum punch…delicious! They also brought fresh, hot Johnny Cakes with an olive tapenade to start off. They served a little gazpacho palate cleanser, and then to the main courses! We had the Lobster House Creole Lobster, the Grilled Lobster, and the Lobster Mac & Cheese, and all were excellent. Special thanks to the manager, Leon, and all the wonderful servers that made this dining experience magical!! 🇦🇮❤️🍹🦞

Y’all!! I cannot stress how much I love the SunShine Shack on Rendezvous Bay! It is the BEST barbecue I’ve ever had & the hospitality can’t be beat!! Garvey starts smoking up that bbq when they open, and you get to enjoy the views of Rendezvous Bay while you wait! 🇦🇮❤️🍗 🍹🏖

I had heard that you have to have a burger at The Ferryboat Inn. And this is 100% true, but that burger looked so juicy & delicious when it came out that I dug in without snapping a pic lol! It was truly delicious though, and the old fashioned rum punches & hospitality were great as well!! 🇦🇮🍔🍹

Wow, wow wow!! I am so excited about this beautiful resort, and its restaurant, Vita!! Rock House is part of Grace Bay Resorts, and it is stunning! It is beautifully designed, and has some of the best views on the island! The restaurant, Vita, is upscale, but not stuffy, and the cocktails are inspired by Rock ‘N Roll songs! We had the Highway to Hell & the Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy…both were delicious! We also had the Burrata Salad and the Prosciutto Pizza. They were perfect for lunch! This is a post copied from a fellow travel advisor.
I have a story to share. A high-end resort had a fire last night. It's a top seller for me. It was contained, no one was hurt and mainly it was smoke. Guests slept on the beach, pools & anywhere they could find a spot. The resort evacuated everyone but it was a tedious process if they did not have a travel advisor to guide them.

Some travel words of wisdom.

1. Use a travel advisor. I am fortunate to have no one at this resort this week. Some amazing travel advisor colleges were hands-on taking care of their clients. It was a stressful Saturday for them and they are ROCKSTARS.
2. Use a travel advisor that knows people in the destination and has connections. I saw unbelievable partnerships from another resort chain step up to assist.
3. Buy travel insurance! Seriously... it's cheap and when you need it, you will be thankful.
4. Even with insurance be prepared to spend extra money should you need to move to a new resort. Don't go on a vacation with your last bit of money.
5. IF you have time, grab your passport from the safe and put on some clothes! ONLY if you have time.
