Talking Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

🏰We tried this last year with our kids - my daughter is 7 years old and my son was 4 years old. They loved it and we loved watching them! I did semi-cry as I was thinking of them getting ready for prom, their wedding, whatever the future holds! 🏰

🪄The 'fairy godmothers' assistant' takes your daughter to pick out a dress if you would like, talk about a hairstyle and accessories, and what to expect. Then, they es**rt you into Cinderella's Castle for their transformation! There are a few packages to choose from. For your little Knight in Shining Armor - your son is able to get a slicked hair do with gel, and a sword and shield (pro tip: this happened to be the least expensive way to buy our son a sword and shield while on Disney property that we could find at the time!). They sent my daughter home with the rest of her make up, a T-shirt, and a cute drawstring bag. I thought my kids were great ages to experience this and I am glad we were able to do it! 👑

Afterwards, make sure you head into Sir Mickey's just behind the castle for a magical little photoshoot. Kind of Disney's version of Glamour Shots! 😉

Presenting some of our best memories - and some not great memories - from our trips to Disney World this past year! ☺️
✨ Looking forward to a fantastic 2025 with travel and more family memories! ✨
🏰 I’d love to help you plan your next magical vacation too!! 🏰

🦁 Animal Kingdom :
- Everything in Dinoland! I love TriceraTop Spin with my kids! It has a great playlist, and their faces are hilarious. I am SO sad to see this ride go.
- The Animation Experience at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. The one artist was from a nearby city! Then another cast member remembered us from a previous trip and drew us a few special animations to keep as souvenirs!
- Flametree barbecue - a great quick lunch spot with shade on a hot day with a great view of Everest - one of our favorite rides.
- The Flotillas - they can interact with you too!

🌎 Epcot:
- The Flower and Garden Festival is just beautiful! I love that Bailey’s Shake.
- The Food and Wine Festival!
- Riding Guardians of the Galaxy as a family since James was tall enough was one of our top 5 moments at Disney!
- The waterfall in the Canada pavilion in the world showcase.
- Voices of Liberty in the American Pavilion - so amazing every time!
- Garden Grille for a late breakfast - so yummy and fun. Great way to recharge batteries, cool off, and see characters that will play/take time with you.
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall was a great late breakfast too with some of our favorite princesses.
- Trying the different flavors of soda pop (FOR FREE!) from around the world at Club Cool!
- The Behind the Seeds tour was a very worthwhile activity if you have a green thumb (or not 🙂)
- Seeing Joey Fatone (from NSYNC) and Friends at Eat to the Beat! I was rocking and rolling!

🏰 Magic Kingdom:
- The Frontierland Shooting Arcade - you will be missed also = (
- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Brooke and James! A fun experience that made me tear up! I loved watching them ‘transform’ and have fun with it. Also, it is the least expensive way to get your little knight a sword and shield - less expensive than the gift shop - PRO TIP!
- Riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with James now that he is tall enough. I love listening to them laugh so hard as we ride!
- The Festival of Fantasy Parade - never gets old!
- Enchanted Tales with Belle - it was my first time. James and Brooke both participated in the story and got a free souvenir bookmark afterwards.
- Meeting Daisy and having her show her sassy side while pointing to her left hand. The attendant said ‘you have to tell Donald that she is still waiting on that ring!”
- Riding the Liberty Belle boat and exploring Tom Sawyer Island in Liberty Square. You also will be missed! RIP
- Always fun times and views in the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

🎥 Hollywood Studios:
- The Green Army men in Toy Story Land.
- Sci-Fi-Dine-In Theater was a fun experience.
- For the First Time in Forever - a Frozen Sing-A-Long continues to make me smile and laugh. They are a talented group of performers and with every show, it always has new jokes!
- Getting to meet Indiana Jones at Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular! One of our best family memories overall ever. James was SO pumped and we loved hearing about the teamwork and camaraderie with the cast of that show!

💕 Overall:
- the kids being able to ride together on a few rides.
- Brooke drew a few of the characters and both kids were really proud to present them with their drawing. Especially Tigger and Tiana!
- The seasonal decorations!

👎🏻 Not so great memories:
- Price Increases!
- Hurricane Milton - the parks were closed for a day and half. Disney World has only closed a couple of times since opening in 1971, and we were there for one of those times. While not ideal, it was an experience. The cast members were calm and treated it just like those of us from Up North were preparing for a blizzard. Disney made sure we had some fun while sheltering in place.
- Doing many loads of laundry on ‘vacation’ in the hotel because we were stuck inside with a hurricane and had a lot of wet clothes….

It’s a great big beautiful tomorrow- shining at the end of every day! The Carousel of Progress attraction is 50 years old! It’s a great attraction to relax in the A/C for 25minutes! 🏰💡

Need a break with your little one in a calm area? Check out the Baby Care Centers! Located in each of the Disney World parks! 🍼👩‍🍼🐣

Offering more than just privacy, Baby Care Centers are fully staffed and feature a host of helpful amenities for parents with infants and toddlers.

Open during regular park hours, each full-service facility is complimentary to use and
includes:

- Private nursing room with rocking chairs
- Changing room with tables
- Restroom facilities
- Feeding area with highchairs
- Kitchen with microwave and sink
- Main room with television, table and seating
- On-site shop offering formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, over-the-counter medications and clothing for purchase

Also, baby changing stations are available in most restrooms in the parks. Baby care centers are where children that are separated from their parents are es**rted and cared for until a parent comes to claim them!
