I-84 Pioneer Childs Gravesite. Location just before the east bound 181st exit. She was around 11 years old and was buried just off the Oregon Trail. Her grave lies on a little strip of land between I-84 and the rail road tracks. She passed away after a short illness in 1849 most likely on her way with her family to Oregon City where they hoped to start a new life. Unfortunately her name and the name of her family are lost to time and the lone marker marks her gravesite.

Take a ride back in time in comfort and style in a restore and updated 1945 Chevy School Bus. Enjoy a day of wine tasting and sightseeing. You have the choice of taking one of my established tours or you can create one of your own. On my tours, I’ll give you a little back ground on the history and geology of the area we are exploring.

The Vintage Tour Bus Co. is a fun and memorable way to add that little extra to your wedding, family reunion, or a day out with friends. It’s also ideal for corporate events.
