Running sightseeing, sightrunning, sightjogging, running tours… there is many names for one of the newest sightseeing trends in the world’s metropoles. It is exactly what it says on the tin – it’s a combination of running and sightseeing. A local person, guides runners through their home city while sharing facts, history and anecdotes with the participants. During the tour runners stop by the many

sights to receive information and take photos. Running Tours is a network of sightrunning companies all over the world, that have been set up by locals, who have a passion for their home city and running. They introduce travelers to their city and its many sights, while running an undisturbed and beautiful route. These guided running tours are an ideal way to get a local introduction to a city and get beneath the surface of a it. The tours are executed as either private tours or tours with 5-8 participants, so guests are guaranteed an intimate and personal experience. As many of our previous guests have stated: “its like running with an old friend”.

🏛️Historic Rio 10K – A run through the city’s past.
🌊 Lagoa 21K – Lagoon, beachfront, and open roads.

Local legend leads the way—so lace up and run Rio like a carioca! 🎊
