Padyak Manila BIKE TOUR + PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST + ARCHITECTURAL SYMPOSIUM = ARKISTRY: PADYAK MANILA (February 2, 2013 - Saturday)

Manila’s architectural history comes alive with Arkistry: Padyak Manila, a bike tour of historic landmarks of Manila with designated stops at important and interesting site representing key episode in the narrative Manila’s urban built environment – from colonial architectures to globalist edifices. The event is coupled with a photography contest in which participants are encouraged to bring their

cameras and through their individual lenses reinterpret Manila as a place and as an experience. The photographic output of the tour will be exhibited during the awarding ceremony at the University Theater of the UP Diliman. The event is part of the celebration the Philippine Arts Month and is presented by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Architectural Students' Association of the Philippines - University of the Philippines Chapter (ASAPHIL UP) and the UP Architecture Student Council (UP ASC).
