ગરમીની મોસમ શરૂ થવાની સાથે જ બજારમાં ફળોમાં રાજા ગણાતી કેરીનું આગમન થવા લાગ્યું છે. કેરી સૌથી ટેસ્ટી ફળ હોવાની સાથે જ અનકે ગુણોથી ભરપૂર છે. એટલા માટે કેરીને ફળોને રાજા કરે છે, પરંતુ તેને રાજની પદવી ગમે તેમ નથી આપી દેવામાં આવી. ખાવમાં તો તે લાજવાબ છે જ ગુણોમાં પણ બેમીસાલ છે.
કાળિદાસે તેના ગુણગાન કર્યા છે અને શતપથ બ્રાહ્મણમાં તેનો ઉલ્લેખ મળે છે. વેદોમાં કેરીને વિલાસનું પ્રતીક કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે. કેરી જ નહીં તેની છાલ, ગોટલી અને રસનું ખૂબ જ મહત્વ અને ઉપયોગ છે આજે જાણો કેરી રીતે કેરી કરે છે રોગોનો ઉપચાર.....
-કેરીની ગોટલીની અંદરની ગીરી અને હરડેને સરખી માત્રામાં લઈને પીસી લો. આ ચૂર્ણને દૂધની સાથે મેળવો. આ લેપને મસ્તક ઉપર લગાવવાથી માથાનો દુખાવો દૂર થઈ જશે.
-કેરીની ગોટલીની અંદરની ગિરીને સૂકવીને ઝીણું ચૂર્ણ બનાવી લો. આ ચૂર્ણને પાણીની સાથે લેવાથી સ્ત્રીઓના પ્રદર રોગ દૂર થઈ જાય છે.
