A few weeks ago, Karen headed out to to have a look at the newly renovated Sango Dadiso.
Here's what she had to say:

"This beautiful camp is located in the Save Valley Conservancy, which is a private Reserve in the Southern part of Zimbabwe with several lodges. It is one of the few exclusive properties where you have a chance of seeing the big 5 on game drives and on foot.
Perfect for those looking for luxury away from the crowds"

The private lodges all have Conservation projects which you can get involved with too, such as Rhino tagging etc.

Contact us for more information if you'd like to know more or are keen to plan a safari to this beautiful area.

has been visiting a few lodges and destinations in the last few months and we’d like to share a few of the experiences.

Starting with the Lodges of Botswana. These are fantastic Lodges in great location, with their emphasis being on great guiding and warm hospitality.

First stop was Nxai Pan Lodge, which is excellent to visit all year but really comes into its own between January and March when herds of zebra congregate as the Pans fill up with the seasonal rains. The Bushman experience is excellent!

Still places available on this amazing eight night tour of Zimbabwe including seven nights in Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park in search of wild dog and African elephants. Mana Pools is unique in the fact that you can have incredible close encounters on foot with both African wild dog and elephant. The wild dogs have become accustomed to people on foot and will often approach those on safari, allowing unrivalled photographic opportunities. The bull elephants are equally approachable and will allow the opportunity to capture incredible images as they stand on their hind legs to feed on high branches of the Ana trees.

We will be accompanied by some of Zimbabwe’s finest guides - including Vundu Camp founder Nick Murray, an expert in the study of wild dogs. As we explore this riverine eco-system, they will share with us their unrivalled knowledge of this beautiful landscape and all that inhabits it. As well as the stars of the trip, we will hope to find other predators including lion and leopard as well plenty of wildlife and bird species.

As is the way with most safaris, we usually head out at dawn and return to camp before the heat of the day and head out again in the afternoon. We recommend that you have early nights to ensure we are all up bright and early each morning.
