☕️🦒JAMBO! Back in 2001 we said “Jambo” to Animal Kingdom Lodge and resort stays like we had never seen before! Having your morning coffee in your Florida resort while looking out across a savanna and seeing GIRAFFES seems crazy, but Disney did it! Every inch of this resort feels authentic, welcoming and special. Who loves to call Animal Kingdom Lodge home?

🚢🗺️ We talk a lot about what happens ON the Disney Cruise Line ships, but what about excursions and those ports beyond Castaway Cay? I’ve got a PRO TIP to share: Book excursions through Disney Cruise Line. Here’s why:

~If an excursion runs late, the ship will wait for you. This is not the case if you booked privately and there is a delay.

~Excursions are vetted for quality and safety. No unpleasant surprises!

~Booking is easy and hassle-free. No worrying about multiple vendors or reading all the fine print

💎🚢🍾🎊 We’re only 9 months away from the inaugural sailing of the newest ship in Disney’s fleet, the Disney Treasure. Of course, we have no pictures as it’s not complete yet, but let’s talk about some things we do know:

~For all of 2025 (at least) it will be a 7 night sailing departing from Port Canaveral with a choice of Eastern or Western Caribbean itineraries.

~It will NOT stop at the newest Disney private island, Lighthouse Point, but will stop at Castaway Cay on both itineraries

~It will feature so many details, elements and themes from the parks and films

~Worlds of Marvel and 1923 will join the new Plaza de Coco as the three rotational dining restaurants

🥱🏰🎆 After a full day going hard at Magic Kingdom, the pressure to stay for the fireworks can feel as heavy as your tired feet. 😮‍💨 Even your inner child is exhausted at the thought of facing the rush to the bus stop and long wait to get back to the resort. It can feel a little daunting, I’ve been there!

🛌📺 What if I told you the best seat in the house isn’t at the Castle hub, it’s in your resort room bed! 🎉 Disney On Demand brings the fireworks to your resort room TV! You can watch Happily Ever After under the covers and fall off to sleep as soon as it’s done. The recording is fantastic. It’s not quite as good as the real thing, but it’s a nice backup plan when you’re just out of steam.

Of course there’s nothing like watching fireworks live, but being able to view them at any time shows how tuned in Disney is to their guests’ needs. The Disney difference is real and still going strong! Ready to go?✨

And CityWalk is FULL of dining, shopping, entertainment and fun for the whole family, LITERALLY within walking distance to many of the on-property hotels. 😵‍💫🚢 The logistics of a cruise vacation can be daunting, but my job is to streamline the process to make it easy for my guests. 😌✨

🫧 One recommendation I make is to stay inside the "Disney bubble" pre-cruise. Meaning, stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It will make a HUGE difference in the experience. Here’s why:

~Early Arrival: Since you should ALWAYS arrive a day before your cruise, kick-off the magic early at Walt Disney World and use Disney transportation to get to the port.

~Priority Boarding: Disney transportation offers you a better cruise boarding slot, avoiding the rush and starts your cruise off smoothly.

~Luggage Delivery: Pack a day bag and let Disney handle the rest. Once on the motor-coach, you won’t touch your luggage until it’s delivered directly to your stateroom.

~Stress-Free Travel: Disney ensures your timely arrival at the port, eliminating worries about traffic or delays. If unexpected issues arise, Disney waits for you – that doesn’t happen using any other port transportation.

I always add a pre cruise stay to my Disney Cruise Vacation, it is my favorite way to relax into the cruise!

🧖‍♀️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🚢 I can’t say it enough, “Me and We Time.” A Disney Cruise Line vacation is the perfect trip where kids can explore and do all the magical things in a safe, worry-free environment, while adults can relax, be pampered, wined & dined. All ships have wonderful adult only areas, but the vibe in the Ooh La La champagne bar reminds me that I’m an adult and I don’t always have to be in a carpool line. Europa is an adult exclusive area that includes :

🌇 Skyline: A lounge offering views of European skylines like Paris and London, despite being at sea

🇬🇧 The Tube: Themed around a British subway, it's a hub for drinks, live music, and activities like trivia, crafts & more

When you can’t get to Disneyland and you miss your favorite snacks, bring them home! I’m starting to cook through Disney! So follow along with me and maybe try it for yourself!
My first dish, Fritters! This dish used to be sold at New Orleans Square at Disneyland. Since then they have replaced it with Double Chocolate Fritters and Berry Cheesecake Fritters! This was a very easy recipe so I suggest trying it yourself! 🧈🥚✨
