Princeton Survey Research was founded in 1989 by Andrew Kohut, after he spent 10 years as President of The Gallup Organization. The new team he built at PSRAI included Dr. Diane Colasanto, long recognized as one of the nation's premier survey methodologists. The principals of PSRAI have helped build the company in the past two decades. Larry Hugick joined PSRAI in 1992. Mary McIntosh joined PSRAI in 1997 to open our Washington office. And Evans Witt joined the company in 1998. In 2003, Hugick, McIntosh and Witt purchased Princeton Survey Research Associates from Mr. Kohut and Dr. Colasanto and created Princeton Survey Research Associates International. McIntosh and Witt continued at PSRAI after Hugick's death in 2013. Staff at PSRAI are members of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR), and American Statistical Association (ASA).
