Happy New Year from all of us at Tauck! As we begin 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible journeys we’ve shared with you over the past year – and for the century of travel memories we’ve created together.
Claude Monet spent countless days perfecting his garden in Giverny, France – not only for his own joy, but to use as an inspiration for his paintings. A true master of making his paintings feel alive, Monet is remembered as the father of Impressionism.
“I would like to paint the way a bird sings,” Monet once said. Strolling through Monet’s peaceful gardens, you will certainly understand why he felt this way.

There is nothing quite like autumn... watching as the vibrant green leaves begin their graceful transformation, slowly tinged with shades of amber, gold, and crimson.

Autumn is here, and there is nowhere better to embrace its beauty than surrounded by nature’s vivid display—where every step crunches underfoot, and every cool breeze carries the magic of change.

Caernarfon Castle - Tauck
Our castle of the month for June is Caernarfon Castle!
Considered one of the greatest buildings of the Middle Ages, Caernarfon Castle was originally built at the tail end of the 11th century by King Edward I of England, who established the structure to act as the administrative center of north Wales and as a symbol of English dominance. When the Tudor dynasty ascended to the throne in the late 15th century, tensions between the Welsh and the English diminished and the castle went into a state of disrepair.
Today, Caernarfon Castle stands as an eternal reminder of centuries past. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, Caernarfon Castle has recently undergone an extensive renovation that allows visitors to see previously closed off sections of the castle.
