Question time: Do You know what all these tulips around Lisse is used for?!🌷❓⁉️

This may come as a bit of a shock to some, but tulip growers don’t care about the flowers. For them, it’s all about the bulbs. The bigger the flower bulb, the more money the farmer can make from it. Not long after the tulips bloom, the growers will chop off the actual flowers, leaving only the stem and leaves. These provide nutrition for strong bulbs.

This medieval church -located close to Budapest- was built in the 11th century, later due to an unfortunate earthquake in the 18th century main part of it got ruined.

The frontage luckily remained in a good condition, so even after 900 years you can imagine how it looked in those early ages😍

So it was more, than a dream! Seeing the tulip fields with my own eyes🌷🌷🌷😊😊😊

My favourite flowers are tulips, all types, in colours and forever🌷

From the beginning of the season till autumn I buy tulips to home almost every week. 🌷

And finally I came to Lisse, to wander around... and it was all worth it!🌷💕
The weather was terrible, and when I say it I mean truly horrible. With we had the worst weather conditions ever, but we just simply loved these flowers!

But at that morning I woke up early to see the sunrise from the beach and it was worth the effort - actually it is always worth the effort if it is about to see the sun coming up🌞 - but it was especially true for that morning. I was alone... just me, the tower, my tripod and the sun... and of course some running-lover “early-birds”, who were already doing their morning (jogging) routine!
