These stunning mosaics were discovered under a 65ft section of street in Hvar, Croatia in February 2022. Planned sewerage and water pipe upgrades were halted while these are examined. It has been suggested to remove the original and replace with a covered reproduction. Experts have dated them to the 2nd Century AD.
