Our ancestors used to throw coins in rivers. Why? The ancient Indian knowledge was laudable! Earlier there used to be coins made of copper, which has anti-microbial properties (mentioned in ayurvedic texts) so the whole concept was to make the river water pure for drinking. Now this old age habit has been inherited by Indians & we throw coins till now (but now the coins are made of alloy of different metals, so it won't matter) but yeah surely it's helping some souls for fetching food.
While sitting on ganga ghat at Rishikesh in the morning, we found this Baba who had this long rope attached with Magnet which helps him to catch coins from Ganga River.
We requested him to show us his skill.
He demonstrated us that how he expert in this work and help him to get some food for him..
