A few snapshots of the last year. It's been a build an empire one really. Work and business and school. No travel unfortunately. We still love Lymm and feel part of the community here now. The Warrior club and the health kitchen are a big part of our lives and we are fitter as a result. The kids are having adventure weekends, Tynny felin for Izzy and Condover for lewis. We've sponsored cage fighting and taken part in Obstacle course races which is great fun. A lot has happened and friends have been made. I miss my backpack though.

Scattered around Cheshire there are some beautifully maintained walled gardens. For many in the various halls you have to pay admission. We found a free one in Grappenhall, people who live nearby have never heard of it. There's a lovely cafe and you can buy the produce, even raw honey from the hives there. A koi carp pond and meadows, truly lovely. It's connected to Parr hall somehow and a real find, we lived it, can't wait to go in summer when in full bloom.

Blackpool! Annual pilgrimage for the lights. Seriously beautiful sunset and runs on the sand followed by the illuminations. Fish and chips by the sea, British necessity as fab weather for September, we were freezing last time we came. The lights were lovely pics don't do them justice, xx

We are missing our travelling days but determined to get back on the road one day in the not too distant future. Our business is growing slowly but steadily and is our main priority right now.

It's been a while since I posted anything on here and I see people still come for a look from the blog and Twitter so thought I would update. We've been in England a year now, it's gone very fast. We have moved once already but are now happy where we are for the foreseeable anyway. The kids are settled in school and have made some great friendships. We are having adventures still as much as school and weather permits. We got a little dog called Ottis at Xmas who we get out with on big walks at the weekends, there's lots of beautiful countryside in Cheshire and places to visit, we're an hour from Wales, so lots of castles and beaches. We are very much looking forward to warmer weather coming again. We've been on a new health journey. Lost some weight and are enjoying gyms and classes. We've started a new business venture Nutrafitpro which we are passionate about and that is also a new adventure for us. So even though we are temporarily static life is new and as much fun as we can make it. Our travels are far from over though. I still have blog posts to finish when I get time to concentrate on it, we still have a huge list of places to visit. We just need to build a base again first. The pics are just some from last oct to now, Halloween, Xmas and birthdays. Snapshots of our life now. Xx

Remember this, beer can tree, Thai green curry for lunch on the most perfect white sand, swimming through pitch black caves and snorkelling on coral reefs. Izzy asleep behind her sunglasses. Then the boat Windows being pushed in with the waves on the way home, the sea pouring into the boat and we thought the boat was going to capsize. Lewis slept through it all while I held onto the ceiling with my hands and held him on the seat with my legs while you went top deck with Izzy in case we did capsize, she was panicking while the Koreans were all being sick at the front. Aaaaaah proper happy days, lol.

I haven't really done any posts on here for a while but I get notifications of new views so I thought I would up date. We moved house a few months ago into a beautiful cottage right on the tow path of a canal. It's been interesting watching the barges and ducks. We have neighbours who live full time on the water and a very greedy swan who comes right to our door. Village life here is so British, we have been to summer fetes and festivals and everything we need can be within walking distance. School is close by and the kids are enjoying it, except the winter mornings, cold and early start which we are just about getting used to. We are starting a new business any day now and looking forward to 2016. Who knows what it will bring?

Were in Lymm, Cheshire the countryside here is stunning, spring is here and bluebell woods. Canals and barges and trees to climb, shire horses to stroke. We will enjoy our summer here.

I haven't commented on here for a good few mo the, been very busy moving countries, again, hard work packing up houses and kids, then a loss in the family. Things are settling down now so onward and upward. Here is a blog about how the kids are doing settling back into school after two years home school. http://www.anelliottabroad.com/so-far-so-good-school-week

We're back in the uk again, feeling a bit chilly but loving being near family and friends, looking forward to new leaves appearing and Britain getting her luscious green summer dress and warmer weather.

We went to the three kings parade yesterday, Spanish children recieve their gifts from the three kings on the 6th jan, not Papa Noel, they appear on their floats the evening before and throw sweets out to all the children, we really enjoy it and take bags with us to collect the sweets. I think this year that the kids on the floats got confetti to throw instead of boiled sweets as previous years they enjoyed throwing them as hard as they could, lol,

Its hot, properly roasting, sweat drips offus, but it is worth it as we do the Temple circuits in the Angkor region of the old Kings.

We havnt eaten out much in Spain since our return, partly because the supermarkets are so great here and I missed cooking while we travelled but when we do eat out it pales in comparison to Asian food, got a few pics together and none of these colorful dishes would have cost more than two or three euros. I love Spanish food, paella, great fish dishes etc but its expensive and the quality varies so much, then there's rarely any veggies, the Rioja is always excellent though.

I was looking through my other Facebook stats and found this. The best times.

Our two weeks in Fuenta de Piedra, very friendly place, surrounded by olive groves and spectacular mountains, lot's of villages nearby, Antiquera and Mollina and others and so close to the lake famous for its flamingos which nest there every year and then only 20 mins drive to El Chorro lakes.

We went to the Malaga Lakes yesterday, absolutely stunning and great fun, and saw our first wild deer. have seen road signs everywhere for deer here but in nearly six years havnt laid eyes on one till yesterday, only problem, as it bounded effortlessly up the rocks , I had the sun shining on my camera, and even though I snapped six shots with my phone I didn't catch it, maybe in six years I will see another one and get it next time. honoured to see it anyway, gorgeous,
