this was a phenomenal tasting spread I happened to taste this weekend & I'm going to try making it at home .. I'm convinced that homemade spreads or condiments contribute to healthiness (there's often a lot of junk in store-bought sauces and condiments)

ROASTED PEPPERS: I’ve really been mixing and matching stuff lately, and much of it turns out interesting .. here I got some roasted peppers from the market (roasted in one of those big old broilers), and sliced in some pluots and tomatoes. Added in a dash of rock salt & it turned out to be the perfect snack.

it's amazing how much of a difference fresh ingredients make..

I did a simple zucchini 'curry' ... I took a zucchini, sliced it thinly, sauteed up urud dal and mustard seeds, added asafeotida and turmeric. On its own, this would have been great, but some curry leaves and a diced green chilli from the garden took it over the top.
