2025: The year of Real ID and Travel Authorizations for UK and Europe
Just a reminder:
1) You need that real ID to fly (or your passport) domestically starting May 2025.
2) Starting next month, if you’re headed to the UK you need their Travel Authorization. Remember, UK isn’t the In the EU!

3) Starting mid 2025 you’ll need to get an advance travel authorization and then upon arrival have your photo and fingerprints verified if going to Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

European Entry/Exit System will register non-EU nationals each time they are visiting European countries. Travelers will be able to check the number of days they are allowed to stay in Europe. It will make passport control faster and will replace the need for passports to be stamped..
